Hoi An Coffee ride

This 43km Hoi An coffee ride is a traditional favorite Saturday ride by local cyclist from Furama Resort, Danang to 11 Coffee Shop at 11 Nguyen Phuc Chu, Hoi An.

This is considered by most to be a chill coffee ride from Danang city to Hoi An along the coastal road featuring 5 star resort along the way with the goal of spending good coffee time with friends along the Hoi An river.

Morning is best time to capture the peace of Hoi An without the swarming tourists.

The first 17km flat ride inward up to An bang traffic light before turning right to Hoi An can be ridden hard, soft, chill depending on your team or mood if you go solo. The remaining 4.5km is ridden mostly chill ride entering the ancient city of Hoi An up to reaching the only coffee shop open along the Hoi An river at 06:00 AM.

Route Start/End: 105 Vo Nguyen Giap St., Khue My Ward, Ngũ Hành Sơn

Landmark: Front of Furama Resort, Mini-Mart Streets and Turn Point: Ride straight up to An Bang traffic light (turn right), Continue to the end of Hai Ba Trung St passing a narrow alley turn right, slight right to Tran Phu St, Left to Chau Thuong Van crossing the Bridge of Light across Hoi An river then turn left until you see the 11 Cafe at 11 Nguyen Phuc Chu. Follow the road in reverse going back to complete course.

Best time to ride: 05:00 - 09:00 Morning

Do not go in afternoon this area is swarming with tourists.

Competition held by Local groups

• 80% of Thursday VCL Weekly Criterium.

  Every Thursday a semi-regular VCL race is held by semi-pro active cycling team VCL that passes through the route past the An Bang traffic light (2.5km further south) up to the Lac Long Quan roundabout and back finishing at Hyatt Regency Resort VLC finish line.
