Hoa Trung Lake loop

This 10.25km loop features the beautiful Hoa Trung lake inside the High-Tech Industrial Park zone. The lake is one of the key natural water reservoir located west of Danang city. It gives amazing views over the lake and having mountains as background.

The location is getting famous as self camping sites for locals.

• If you take a motorbike through the IZ entrance high chance you will be blocked by security checkpoint.

How to get there?

To reach this lake, you can go via the Hoa Ninh road northbound from the west going through a short passage or through the High-Tech Industrial Park via Hoa Lien street. Using the south Industrial Zone as entry point you need to consider the 11.6km distance from end of NTT (Nguyen That Than) - Nam O building and the distance of NTT to west beach which is about 18km. A total of one way distance of 29km if you are coming from the east beach My Khe.

If you take a motorbike, you can use the main road Đường Trung Tâm as entrance point to the lake and camping sites. A little further.

Via the NTT and IZ south entrance there is a checkpoint. Unauthorized vehicle not allowed. Cyclists allowed.

Landmarks:

-East side of lake view area - KM2.4 from segment start above -Hoa Ning passage road - KM6.3 -Ramp down to the Water wall or the Reservoir wall - KM7.6. A little bit of cross country carry your bike and walk down. The view through in the river wall is worth it. *Reminder - This is Easy to miss this as you are going fast downhill using the segment as guide. Just follow the view of the reservoir wall and find your way.

Best Time to ride:

05:00 - 08:00 AM Morning. Best time to go with less traffic. Cool air. Amazing vibes.

Local Tip:

• Take a walk or ride through the reservoir wall lane. The view is great.

• Go camping in the allotted camping sites inside the loop area

Per KM Notes KM00

KM00 - If you are able to get through this street it means you have passed already NTT and IZ zone properly. Continue west and go through a couple of hills KM2.4 - Climbing the 3rd hill you will see a view of the lake and the inner streets.

KM6.3 - This is a small street that crosses through a small village used during the Danang Gran Fondo Event. Also a starting point if you are coming from the west area of Danang City

KM7.6 - You will see the reservoir wall.

Continue further you see an intersection. Turn left and you will be back from your starting point. Head through Đường Trung Tâm if you wish to go through the main highway back to Danang city.
